Synergy Rubric & Report
Metro Tech Executive Edition & Athlete Development Report
Coaches use the Metro Tech Executive Edition Synergy Rubric (15–24) to rate behavior across the five stages. The system converts those ratings into a colorful, plain-language report.
For each item, coaches rate from 1–5: 1 = intensive support to 5 = leadership standard.
- Thinking (Self-Awareness) — emotional state, frustration, body language, feedback, ownership, reset strategies.
- Knowledge (Structure & Execution) — systems, step-by-step following, drill focus, rules, mental prep, transitions.
- Understanding (Team Awareness) — respectful communication, reading cues, supporting team needs, conflict resolution, empathy, inclusion.
- Wisdom (Decision-Making) — choices under pressure, pause before reacting, discipline, adapting strategy, modeling regulation, balancing aggression.
- Synergy (Collective Leadership) — elevating energy, encouragement, team-first play, servant leadership, trust, unity under stress.
Every assessment generates an I2WE Neuro-Inclusive Athlete Development Report with pre / post scores, growth change, and stage-by-stage narratives.

Leadership behaviors that lift team culture. - 3.5–4.49 · Advanced Consistency Level
Strong independence with growing leadership potential. - 2.5–3.49 · Developing Consistency Level
Skills are present; structure and reminders build reliability. - 1.5–2.49 · Emerging Development Level

Requires individualized planning and frequent intervention.
- Encourage short emotional reflection after practices and games (“What did you notice about yourself?”).
- Reinforce responsibility, communication, and follow-through at home with clear roles.
- Support regulation routines (breathing, movement breaks, reset phrases) used in the program.
- Celebrate effort, progress, and team-focused behaviors just as much as points and wins.
Behavior Intervention
Synergy Behavior Intervention Action Plan
When athletes need more targeted support, coaches can generate a Synergy Behavior Intervention Action Plan tied directly to the rubric and report.
Each action plan includes:
- Stage targeted (Thinking, Knowledge, Understanding, Wisdom, or Synergy).
- Identified behavior concern in coach-friendly language.
- Short-term goals (2–4 weeks) that are specific and measurable.
- Intervention strategies like structured repetition drills, reset routines, visual cues, and aligned parent communication.
- Progress monitoring plan plus coach, parent, and athlete signatures.
The I2WE system connects rubric scores, development reports, and behavior plans into one story, so teams can move from “reacting to behavior” to coaching growth in a structured, hopeful way.
